After two recovery runs on yesterday, I was wondering if I could have run at EZ pace or little faster. First mile as usual was over 9 min pace, and things got steadily better till mile 5, mile 6 was at steady pace of 8:15 (gps pace which I found out is 20 seconds faster generally while doing track work), and then on mile 7, I started doing the strides on straighter portion of tracks which brought over all pace from 8:15 to 8:10. Felt good after first mile, weight is getting reduced.
