Notes

We ran a pretty solid workout this afternoon as our first one back for the season. We did a 2 mile warm up, and then did a 12-minute tempo piece up a hill followed by about 3 min rest, then 2x1 mile repeats at "threshold" with 2 min between, and then a cool down. The hill tempo went well and I felt good staying with the lead pack, only losing them when I had to stop near the end to retie my shoe. The mile repeats where a bit faster than threshold (5:21 and 5:18) but they felt pretty good and I only trailed the lead pack by a little bit. All in all a good first workout with the team, and I'm glad I was feeling so strong throughout.
