I ran when we got back from Lake George this evening, trying out a new loop by heading to HG via Lawrence Farms Crossway and Old Roaring Brook Road, and then taking Upland Dr to Algonquin to the trail that connects it to Devoe before heading back to 120 and through town to Douglas and then back home. While I didn't feel as great as I did durning the second half of yesterday's run this did go well. Despite the weird week that I had with a few really short days and two days off I found that the ten miler felt strong throughout, and I think that really the low-mileage week might have been a good thing for me to rest and recover before I keep working my way to higher-mileage weeks. Hopefully this week I'll get everything back on track.
