Notes

Did a solid workout today of 2 miles at tempo followed by 3 x 4min oslerians. For the first time this fall, I also took the workout out into the rolling hills of Vireloup out past the airport rather than sticking along the lake, which also made it a bit harder. It went well though, and I was fairly pleased with the paces I was hitting. This workout caps off a 64-mile week over the rolling last 7 days, and still the legs did pretty well with it.

The tempo averaged about 5:39's (with a good deal of uphill included), and then the oslerians ranged from about 5:40 for the first portion down to sub-5:00 pace for the final 30 sec. Good to get the legs really moving like that, and the tempo felt smoother than the last few weeks.

Still don't know if I'll get a bib for the Escalade next weekend, but I'm trying to shock the legs back into shape just in case I do get in! If not, perhaps I can take this speed to something back home over the holidays.
