Oblong Road

Notes

We took this as a slightly shorter and significantly easier long day this week after a good race yesterday, and it felt great. We ran from the HS to the end of Oblong, where we picked up a trail that brought us back toward the start of Oblong, and we then ran over Scott Hill to Stone Hill and back to campus. The run was about 12 miles, and I then swam for about 20 minutes before guarding which I counted for a mile and a half. During the run my ankle felt a little tight for the first few miles but it loosened up eventually which was good, and the pace was good (about 7:00s?) but didn't feel bad at all. The cool weather was rough starting off but was nice was nice once we had warmed up.
