Notes

This was my long day for the week, and it tied for my longest run ever. I ran the first 6 miles with Miriam by going to Haights Cross and back on Whip (3 mi.) and then running to her house via the Interfaith hill (3 mi.), so that part was a bit slower. I then continued down Kipp and took a right on Douglas, and did the whole 10K course back to town where I looped around the parking lot and then ran back to Greeley, though I ran up Upland Drive and then down Ellen's street to make it a bit longer. This felt pretty good overall, even after I sped up after dropping off Miriam. I didn't feel exhausted or anything, and I feel as though I could easily have kept going if I needed a longer run. I would estimate that I did a bit slower than 8:00 pace with Miriam, but then brought it down to somewhere around 7:10-7:20s when I was by myself. It was raining when I woke up but fortunately the rain let up (mostly) just as I was starting off, though it did continue to mist a bit for the whole time. All in all I'm very happy with this run!
