Went for an average run this afternoon over Stone Hill and Mount Hope. It was a drizzly overcast day so I didn't get any great views from the summits, but it was still a very pretty run that felt fairly good. For the long stretch on Rt. 43 I got that sort of awkward feeling to my stride that I get when I'm going awkwardly slowly (which I wasn't) or haven't run in a while (which isn't the case) and I'm not sure what that was all about, but I followed the run with some barefoot speed development and that felt good so I'm not worried. It may also have just been from the extra effort I was putting into the run because of my heavy, wet shoes (maybe?).
