Got myself onto the track for a workout this morning, trying to inject some speed and strength back into my legs. After running to Bout-du-Monde as warm-up, I did a workout of 3x800 @ 8k pace (hitting about 2:36-37 per 800) w/ 45 sec rest, 1 x mile at tempo (5:35-5:40), 3 min rest, and another 3 x 800 @ 8k (~2:38/800m) w/ 1 min rest. Felt pretty good on this, hitting the target paces without *too* much difficulty. Stuck to the trainers for this rather than switching into flats. Then cooled down back to CG8.
