We did a fun but fast workout today of "oslerians", which consisted of a 5 minute piece (with 2 min at threshold, 90 sec at 5k, 60 sec at 3k, and 30 seconds at about mile pace), a 4 min piece (90 sec at threshold, 60 sec at 5k, 60 sec at 3k, 30 sec mile), 5 min, 4 min, and a final 3 min piece (60 sec at threshold, 60 sec at 5k, 30 sec at 5k, and 30 sec at mile). We had 3:30 rest after the 5 min pieces, and 3 min after the 4 min pieces. It was fast, but I managed pretty easily in my trainers and actually ran with the front group! I felt good overall and really enjoyed this workout. We also warmed up from the hockey rink to Cole Field, and then cooled down back to the rink.
