This was our annual workout in Pownal with the 12 min tempo up Ladd Rd (the endless hill) followed by 4 min recovery and then a few mile repeats on the rolling dirt road with 2 min recovery between. I did 2 mile pieces in 5:26 and 5:25 respectively, and then did just a half mile in 2:33 rather than a full last mile. I felt solid throughout this which was great to see, and I kept up fairly well with the second pack.
This afternoon we also met up a second time as a team to do a circuit in the field house with various exercises, which was actually good to see and I enjoyed it.
