Had a great long run today in Boston. I headed way out of the city on Beacon St until it meets with Washington St (Rt 16), and then followed the marathon route to Comm Ave and up Heartbreak Hill back into the city. It was super windy today, which resulted in a real nasty headwind for the first half of the run heading out, but then a great tailwind pushing me back to the city. The legs felt good, the pace was consistently strong, and I enjoyed being out. This was certainly a better experience on the course for me than the last time I ran it!
