I biked today since I figured it would hurt my scraped-up palms too much to go for a swim (not thinking of how much I sweat on the bike..) and I worked it hard. For some reason I felt really gross having not done anything yesterday, and I really wanted to get in a good workout. I kept the arm up pretty short and got right up to a resistance of 8, but at 6 min I put it up to 9. I kept it there until 37 min (20 to go) when I put it up to 10, and at 50:00 I went up to 11. For the last 3 or 4 minutes I picked the cadence up some more and really pushed which was tough but felt great. I finished with a 3 min col down to make it an even hour, and I ended up burning 1210 calories in the hour (a new record on the bike!).
