Notes
Did a short run from the club this afternoon, doing a loop on Kipp to 120 and past home and then back to the pool. I could tell I was still a little worn out from yesterday's effort (and the brutal week before) but after the first mile or so (7:00 pace) I loosened up a bit and averaged about 6:45s for the rest of the run which wasn't too bad. Hopefully another relaxed day tomorrow will help me feel better before Wednesday's workout.
Right after the run I changed and hopped in the pool for a short 1,100 yd swim workout to try and give the legs a bit more of a break as well as get the arms moving. I did a 300 warm up, 8x75, and a 200 cool down. It obviously wasn't much, but my arms were exhausted by the end and I could feel my stroke deteriorating which was a real shame. Need to get in the water more often.
Wrapped up the workout with about 10 min of core which weren't easy but which went pretty well.
