Notes
We did a short tune up workout today which was 2x2 min at cruise, 4x30 sec strides, and then 2x2 min cruise (recovery 1 min between everything). It felt good and I was really feeling recovered and quick today in the cool weather which was great. The cruise was probably a bit too fast, but felt good and I was happy with it. The knee wasn't bad at all once I got going, and especially during the workout today it felt fine.
I did go to the trainer today after the workout because I figured I should finally ask someone about my knee, and he told me that it was a minor IT band issue. He gave my stretches to do and said to take 2 advil 3 times a day, and I'll be fine through nationals. But, it won't actually get better until I take some time off running.
