Did a light-ish workout as we close in on this weekend's race. After a 3-mile warm-up, I did 2 miles @ tempo, 3 x 2 min @ 3k, 1.5 miles @ tempo - with 3 min recovery after the tempo and 60 sec recovery after the shorter pieces. This has already been a pretty big week, so the legs were definitely a bit tired, but the paces were still strong and felt alright during. Had been planning to pretty much train right through this weekend, but might take a bit of extra rest in the next two days. TBD.
