Did my longest run of the spring this afternoon, and it went really well. I headed out to the Vandoeuvres/ Cologny farm area, enjoying the pretty area. It was raining and foggy but despite being a little chilled at points, I felt quite good and enjoyed the run more than most of my long runs lately. I took an energy gel at 9.5 miles, to start getting myself used to them, and that went fine - no stomach issues. I also surprised myself by feeling particularly strong during the last three miles or so, and I really upped the pace for the last portion.
