Similar route to yesterday morning, swapping in a loop around the Tidal Basin instead of looping the Capitol building. Really pretty around the basin and Jefferson Memorial (first time out there) - and what a difference a day makes to bring out the sun!
Also threw in two short tempo pick-ups during the second half to get the legs moving a bit after last week's focus on consistent running again following the weeks of travel. Felt good and paces were strong, though with street crossings wasn't able to get as consistent or long a piece as I wanted. But more to come next week!
