heart rate spiked to 172 in the first half mile but I didn't consider it as a max while running the course.
The was a point at about 5 miles that I sped up a bit and then once I crossed the street I started picking up the pace for the last 3.2 miles. Felt pretty good and the speed up in mile 8 felt great. The whole run felt much better than the 7 miler an saturday.
