Woo hoo - new PR and 2nd place AG on a hilly course and a strong north wind blowing at you for the last few miles. I love this course - it punishes you when it should and is truly a "challenge". About a minute faster than what I had planned. Felt good throughout the race - achieved a successful negative split (6:49/6:39).
Have a couple of hot spots I need to keep my eye on that flared up during the race, especially after stopping and cooling down (right lower abdominal muscle, lower back).
