Met Joe out front for the first few miles - stiff back and tight hamstrings as usual - maybe a little worse due to the massage yesterday. He turned around and went back (post marathon) and I kept going. After 5 miles or so the hips/glutes just stiffened up and I found the splits falling into the 9s. Considered walking it in but decided just to keep the legs moving. It was warm but mostly the legs just didn't want to turn over.
