Trying to keep my weekly limit at 50 so I only had 10 miles to get through. Thought it would be prudent to stick to soft surfaces so went up to the trail. Everything was feeling decent so I thought I would try to get up to a tempo effort. Stopped to talk to Frank after a few miles but otherwise kept it steady. Kind of a mixed result - thought I was working too hard but the pace came out pretty good and my heart rate wasn't as high as I thought (was it accurate?). Felt pretty strong but still had some stiffness towards the end with the hips.
