Signed up last minute for a half marathon trail race out at Krause Springs. It had been raining all week so expected more mud - wasn't too bad - only the river crossings were sloppy, the rest of the trails were sandy-ish so pretty manageable. It was more technical and hilly than I expected. After the first loop I was already pretty tired and struggled a bit in places during the 2nd loop but ended up finishing strong in the easier downhill sections. Grabbed 1st place 40-49 AG and 7th overall.
