Inaugural Napa Valley Half Marathon - just starting midway up on Silverado Trail. Anthony had a free entry and I was in Sacramento so just stayed over and raced. About the same as the other 2 halfs this year - just couldn't keep the 6:30/6:20 pace in the middle miles. Legs were not moving fast enough. Was able to rally a little and have a fairly strong close but was hoping for 1:25ish. Was a bit humid and headwind though the temps were nice - mid 50s.
Anthony ended up with a 1:36, just a minute off his PR.
Not the best prep hanging in Napa and drinking wine and no recovery due to a noon flight out of Sacramento. Still fun.
