Notes

The Ship is holding a Spring Sprint Challenge series. This is the first week - same route for everyone, you can show up at the workout or do it virtual. I decided to get it out of the way this morning so I can pack for our West Texas Spring Break trip tomorrow.

Haven't been feeling great but thought it would be a good idea to just run fast once/week over the next several weeks and see how it feels.

Left foot is not bad, right ankle overall okay but a couple of random shooting pains during the warmup. Didn't bother me at all during the "race".

It was a great first mile, downhill, but then very hilly. Probably should have gone out a little faster the first mile but it was a bit warm and humid and I have no idea what a 5k pace is anymore.

I was working over some of those hills in the last mile and likely could have pulled out a slightly faster pace if I had people around me but overall that's about as good as I could have done today.
