Unfortunately, my HR monitor kept getting stuck – at 73bpm for the first mile, and then at 173bpm for much of the second. I basically went by feel and tried to check my HR by touch at intervals. I consistently found myself going at a lower HR than I expected based on how I felt, which is great. Especially with the heat and the humidity, I'm happy with how the run turned out. Good to be back, and I'm glad I took a few days off.
