Why do I run: I run as an outlet of energy and stress. I run so my children see me doing some sort of physical activity. I run to spend time with my friends. I run to make my ass fit into smaller jeans. I run to meet a goal.. to run a full marathon someday. Maybe this year will be my year?! |
Why I started running: I started Body For Life in January of 2010. I had gained weight after I lost my pregnancy weight. I realized that I need to do something, so I started a BFL challenge. I was doing the Body For Life workouts and started a Jillian Michaels 30 day shred plan as well. I was also throwing in some P90X as well. So I decided to start the C25K with a couple of my friends. We started running and it was HARD! We increased our times every week and eventually ran a 4 mile race in April. We also completed our first 5K on Mother's day and we have a 10K coming up in June! |
