COMMENTS: Official race time of 17:06. Splits of 5:12, 5:18 (10:32) then 6:34 for the last 1.1mi. Got 2nd in my age group and 8th overall plus a PR! But the mile splits seem like they could be wrong, I'm thinking that the 2nd mile mark was short making the 3rd mile long. Quite hot out, people had hoses spraying us. No one passed me the whole race, ran real strong on the uphill I thought.
