COMMENTS: Lined up to the starting line and saw extremely stacked age group. 8th overall and I was 7th in 15-19. First mile is downhill but started very conservative before turning onto Smallwood. Then picked it up on the downhills and passed people like crazy. Then Pfieffer and I were running side by side for like 2 miles and than after that he took off when I poured water over my head. Usually I don't take the water but it was very humid out. Didn't wear a shirt, pinned my number to my shorts. Got a little stomach cramp before the Burroughs hills but fought through them and passed Howze as he almost walked up it. Handled the uphills pretty well but I couldn't sprint once I got over them. Splits of 5:25, 5:33, 6:26 (5:50 pace).
