COMMENTS: Nick and I started mid-pack so we walked for the first couple of seconds until the crowd moved. Lenny started in the second row and raced. We did it more as a tempo run. My chip time was 30:00 which gave me 86th place, while my gun time was like 30:34 which was good for 101st place. Wore shorts after planning on wearing tights. My splits were: 6:11, 6:03, 6:10, 5:54, 5:38. I ran this race in 2002 with a time of 31:09 and chip time of 30:56.
