Goal today was to do 4xmile at around 3:54 pace with about 3:00 rest. Wind was somewhat strong from the south west so I had a tailwind to start. Went out way too fast despite not feeling horrible. The problem is my legs are just not used to running this fast for multiple reps. Was really hurting coming back into the wind but fought hard to hit goal pace without maxing out. The third rep I just had nothing and if it wasn't for the tailwind would have completely died. Finished strong maxing out the last 800m and knew I had nothing left for a final rep. Run home was pretty slow with left hamstring really tight.

Averaged 3:51.5 but for only 3 reps and 2 with tailwind. Not horrible but at the same time the only way I am going to improve is through consistent weekly workouts.
