My first five miles in vibrams were not that great this morning. 95 degrees was too hot for me to be running at all. I spent a lot of time watching my step and didn't get to enjoy the scenery of the trail as much. Plenty of wrong steps were painful. I was surprised that running on the concrete was a lot easier than the trail.
I carried my sandals just in case but didn't use them. I have two small matching blisters on the insides of my feet from where the sole met the leather, but otherwise no lasting pains from wearing them. I hope after some training they'll be enjoyable.
