Notes
Dexter-Ann Arbor 10K
As expected, I'm not in good shape (I was averaging 6:11s for a 10K 2 months ago). The first two miles felt really good but I got really tired after that, especially in my legs. I'm also running on very little sleep (6 hrs.) due to yet another fight with Jenna. I also found it really hard to run faster than 6:45's at the end. I just couldn't get my legs going; they felt locked into that pace. When I finished, I wasn't too aerobically tired. Just couldn't run harder. And I sucked on the hills.
Call it a 10K tempo run, though at this point 6:40-:45 is my tempo pace (which I hope will be my MP-5").
OK--a good start to marathon training!
