New Bedford Half Marathon. Debut half marathon. First few miles had a few rolling hills. Then it was fairly flat with the wind at your back and I was rolling quickly for a few miles. Ever so often there would be a gust of strong wind, but it would calm down quick, and then right after mile 9 we took a turn to head back towards the finish and there was a strong wall of wind for like two miles (hence the 6:58, 6:42 miles). I can't even say that I was running poorly there because I was actually passing people running that pace. Last mile an up hill grind and was feeling pretty tired but managed to catch a few girls. Over all can't complain, broke 90, VDOT calculator has me at a sub 3 marathon, so we are moving right along, hopefully...
