Well I think the best way to discuss this race is that you get out of it what you put into it and I have to say that I deserve this slower time for how off my training was this week. Going to Philly Wednesday to Thursday resulting in me missing a day of training. Sometimes the lazy side of me enjoys to test the limits on what how little I can get away with doing and still be hitting good performances. Not to make excuses, but I was also very tired for the whole week and it didn't seem to matter if I went to bed a 9 pm because I still wouldn't wake up to do a morning double. Next weeks training will be better and same with the week after that to be better prepared for states and ECAC's.

Now a little about the race. I was on a good pace (18:20 ish) for about the first half of the race and then just dropped from leading the RIT girl to being very much so behind her. I knew I was going much slower, but just fell off and could pick it back up. It must have been really hot or something in the field house because right afterward I was feeling pretty light headed.
