Notes

A "pyramid workout" with brtc. I wasn't really familiar with the workout. The e-mail sent out was a little confusing. The girls I typically run with were doing a different workout, since they are faster than me I decided it was best I let them do their own thing. Ended up running with 2 girls I had not met before, Danielle and Christine, unfortunately I think they were too fast for me. Danielle was a U of R 2014 grad, so I would have raced her my freshmen year at Regionals at U of R's home course.

Workout was 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1 with rest as half the interval, except 1 min rest for the 1:00. Tempo working down to 5k pace with a negative split down the pyramid. Based on others watches we started out around 5:40 pace for the first few...which isn't tempo pace for me and I don't think was tempo pace for them. Once we hit the "backside" of they pyramid I was feeling it and it was getting dark and there are no lights on the BC res...AND apparently they workout there all XC season IN THE DARK. GAH what a bummer. I was really struggling with the uneven footing trying to run fast at the end which was a PAIN.

Also I got a parking ticket..... for parking like 20 mins over in a 2 hr zone, without parking meters, welcome to Boston. Needless to say not the best day at practice.
