About me:
I am 25 years old, happily married, and love the study of everything from literature to politics. I am functionally fluent in Spanish and work with immigrants in the social work field. My ultimate career goal is a Ph.D in social work administration and policy. |
Why do I run:
Because I need it. Because it is my anchor through every storm that blows through my life. |
Why I started running:
Physical health and mental health. Nothing turns a depressed mood around faster than a good run. I don't want to fall apart as I age, and I don't want to be sitting in a hospital somewhere wishing I'd done something about improving my health when I was young. |
