15 1/2 clockwise loops from the Y around the High School. 6 mile warmup followed by alternating MP miles then a 3 mile cool down to finish, mostly because I was toast. No gu., just water and only a banana for breakfast. This was a bit repetative and more difficult than I would've hope for since I didn't run much of it at marathon pace. Maybe I'm just foolish to think I can run that fast for 26. Tick tock.

It was around 8 this morning. Check out "Train low, compete high" on the net. Just stumbled across this today after the run. The jury is still out but I think at least some of this training type would be beneficial.

You could have reversed direction to mike it up a little.

Could have, but they won't let us do that at ATL so I figured it was good training not to.
