Notes
Well there, I got that monkey off my back. Finally sub 20. Cold and windy, almost unbearable to be outside. The first mile my legs and feet were just numb. Fortunately it was flat and down. Then I settled in and started to warm up during mile 2 although it was up and windy and of course "mile 2" in a 5k, typically the slowest mile anyway. The final 1.1 was flat and down thankfully so I cruised on in. Great course and tons of spectators, including a pre-race chat with the Governor. Free entry to boot plus my buddy bought my beer afterwards for "coaching" him through his first 5k training. Great day. 19th overall and 2nd in my AG.
