Hard workout, but nice to have in the past. Not as fast, or easy, as I had hoped. Form was a bit out of sorts: loose. Knees felt abused a little -- like I was pounding. The last few miles were a mental push. To think I need to do this twice for the marathon.

I was really fearing this workout -- glad to have done as well as I did. I'm happy with it.

Road conditions were fine: wet, but mostly clear of snow/slush. The wind picked up on a few miles. No shelter from it. Really strong. Glad Rick and Tom joined me.

15 miles total with the last 12 miles at MP. Try your best to

run your “warm-up miles” at the same pace you plan to run for your first 3 miles

on race day. No totally flat courses please (unless your marathon is on a flat

course)!
