Notes

4 miles Warm Up, then planned on 7 miles at HMP (6:45). My LT runs seem doomed every time, they always manage to fall on very humid and warm mornings. After a miserable failure for my last LT run, I really wanted to at least keep up the intensity, even if I missed the paces. First couple came in a bit slow, but I managed to find a little more as I progressed. 7:00, 6:59, 6:47, 6:48, 6:48, 6:32 I decided to skip the last HMP mile as I felt my legs getting sloppy, probably on account of running the sixth mile 13 seconds too fast. I jogged it in as a cool down.

Overall, I'm pleased. Certainly, I've achieved better results in other workouts than this, but the temperature being what it was and given my bombing of the previous LT workout, I was glad to be in the area of my pace, even if only for a portion of those miles. These are tough workouts for me, glad it's done, I was kind of dreading this workout.
