Fast start downhill 1/2 mile then uphill and so on.. hill near end.. kept Dave Burns behind me until 2.35m mark.. on garmin 7:52 7:45 then 8:54 watch was at 2.98 at finish line short course.. 24:32 on garmin 8:11 pace exctly 3 miles burned off 462 calories and cadence of 178 i'll take official time 5k/ 3.1 miles in 24:10 for 7:47 pace.
