Finally, A really great run! I set out to do a 3.6 easy for my b-day but felt good so I extended it. I have been building base for a month now so I told myself that if I felt strong I would extend it and if I hit 4.0 I'd log it as a long run. I'm happy to have another color in my graph. Still no more than one every other week for June but I feel good about it. PF was only a nagging concern but didn't slow me down. I love the freedom the Garmin gives me to extend a run and know where I am as far as time and distance without having to map it. I deserved this one. The last few weeks have been pretty tough. better hydration and eating prior to the run definitely helped. For the first time I feel like I'm back. 4.05 with no walking on a hilly course at under 10:00 is quite an accomplishment for me right now. Take that old age.
