Took distance and pace from Ken Abbotts Garmin GPS as I made two pits stops and stops at water/gue stations several times. Therefore, my watch time was a little off and Ken said we actually ran 21 miles (not sure what the deal was with that). Think it was fairly accurate however, because pace per mile with some other people at various times on the course comfirmed that pace. Started at pretty slow pace (9:30 - 10:00 pace) but picked it up on last half or so and felt pretty decent except for last couple miles when legs were starting to bark and howl some. Overall, very good training run and longest distance I have ever run so far in my entire life. Saw lots of people I knew from GR Running Club and ran quite a bit with some of them. Had a good time. Glad I ran this far for a training run as it gives me a confidence boost for the Marathon distance. Now only the last six miles will be a mysterious adventure. Onward ho!!
