7 hours sleep. Ran 2.5 hours after lunch. Run during hot part of day went better than I thought it would. Heat was really no problem. Left shin and calf felt okay during run. Iced shin after run. It's a little sore tonight (10:00 PM). Doctor wouldn't okay prescription for therapy, so had to make appointment and can't get in for a couple weeks. Not too happy about this, but nothing I can do about it. Just hope it doesn't get any worse until then.
