Drove down to the island early today to hit Tri Lakes. Left the house and it was 35 degrees, got to the island at it was 51! What a nice surprise. Really slogged through the first 4 or so before settling in. Was coming down the hill past the Stables and to my surprise saw Louie and Beardsley! Figured they weren't gonna show but I must have missed them by a matter of seconds...oh well. Turned around and ran the rest of their loop with them for an even 12. Couple quicker miles at the end with a tailwind, definitely felt those, but nice to have the company.
