Notes

After my tempo effort last week, I decided it would be better to split the warm up/cool down and main run so I could get a true gauge of the tempo speed. This also allowed for recovery time between the phases of the workout. I felt I did a good job maintaining the effort throughout the run. I still am going out slightly too fast, but todays splits were heavily influenced by the wind. While at my back, there was a noticeable push and those segments into the wind were very difficult. I also think the paces were slightly faster since I broke up the run into different segments. I'll try a similar effort next week hopefully when there are better conditions.
