Slept good. 1 sleeping pill. Oatmeal breakfast. Goo right before race. 3 blocks at mile 7-8.
Beautiful weather, 45 degrees and no wind at start.
Wore shorts, DD shirt, purple sleeves, mittens (tossed at mile 3).
Goal pace 7:30, knew this should be comfortable, and it was. Ran a little faster at downhill start, a little slower in trails, and good strong finish.
Recovery was pretty easy. Legs and feet just a little sore, not bad, and recovered after just a couple days.
