tempo workout on the river. joined alex and jake doing 7 miles alternating 1/2 miles between 5:55 and 5:35 (their MP/tempo). I had a planned dropout (since i'm not nearly as fast as them) at mile 2.75, where I rested/jogged until they met back up with me after they turned around at 3.5. The tempo sections were fast and the MP sections were slow. Overall I felt good, i was pushing to hit the tempo splits but the 6:00 pace felt easy. Had some bad stomach toward the end and felt awful after. alex crushed the last 1/2 mile.
