Marathon Training Week 17: Long Run. Well that was the farthest long run of the training plan. That was tough. Glad to get up early to meet my brother Steelie so we could hammer that one out together. Nicer to suffer through something like that while you can talk to some one. Lungs were feeling ok for the run, but my legs are feeling pretty beat up right now. I forget how many up and downs there are through Shubie. Once we left the shelter of the trees, the sun was pretty warm at 9am and it was starting to get more difficult. Made it through though.
