Not bad for as bad as I have been with a friends 40th Bday party on Friday! (thus the extra weight! Started at a 2 min run, 20 second walk... gradually increased run interval... Kept walk at 20 seconds. ended up running half mile intervals at the end.

Felt strong at the end and could have kept going but didn't want to press my luck! I already went almost 20% father than last weeks long run so any more was pushing it.

Kept my cadence from 164-158.. was falling off a little at the end but it is becoming second nature not to over stride at least. Practiced deep breaths utilizing the lower half of my lungs.. Really helped control my heart rate. Again as I neared the end and picked up the tempo and longer intervals, got harder to concentrate on both breathing and foot turnover.

Lost 6 lbs.. my fav part of the run! :)
